Program Description:	SUNY Plattsburgh is home to a vibrant community of renowned teachers and nationally recognized scholars, dedicated to engaging students and helping them to succeed. Our students arrive from diverse backgrounds and places. But once enrolled, they have one particularly important thing in common: a college experience with the power to transform their lives. SUNY Plattsburgh offers scholarships to each accepted international student. We award scholarships based on a student's academic merit (high school average or transfer GPA), student type (Freshman or Transfer), and country of permanent residence.

Requirements 1:	Superior academic achievement as evidenced by high school grades, college/university grades, and/or results on nationally standardized exams.
Requirements 2:	Freshman applicants are strongly encouraged to provide SAT or ACT results.
Requirements 3:	Must submit evidence of English language proficiency (for example, TOEFL, IELTS, completion of recognized ESL program).
Requirements 4:	Only accepted applicants enrolling full-time at SUNY Plattsburgh are eligible for consideration.
